The program was formally known as “Jumia First” but now it is Jumia Express. Jumia has partnered with the local vendors in the various Jumia African Countries by signing up for the service.Jumia has put in place warehouses to store these products from its partner vendors. It worth knowing that, Jumia Express is only available to local vendors. Products coming from abroad on the Jumia Global program will continue to take 10-12 days to be delivered.

Delivery Timeline for Jumia Express Products
It takes Jumia 24 hours to deliver goods if an order is placed before 2 pm especially where the Jumia offices and warehouses are located. But other major cities and towns, an additional day is added.For instance, if an order is placed before 2 p.m. the first delivery attempt will be within 1 business day in Logos. The first delivery attempt is within 2 business days for Port Harcourt, Abuja, Ibadan and Abeokuta if an order is placed before 2 p.m. All other cities if an order is placed before 2 p.m.
The first delivery attempt is within 5 business working days. If an order is made after 2pm, an additional day is added. That is how it is with all other African countries where Jumia exists. Note that the business days on Jumia are from Mondays to Fridays and do not include weekends and public holidays.
