You would like to order some kinds of stuff from Jumia so you need some information to rely on as to how delivery is done and other related matters. How long does it take to receive products ordered from the Jumia online mall?

Delivery timelines vary depending on your city and your selected product. Please be informed that there are 3 types of product tags on the Jumia online shopping mall. We have the Jumia Global, Jumia Express, and the standard delivery products.

Delivery timelines for products shipped from overseas are significantly longer than for other products: expect one month between your order confirmation and its delivery. These are the products with the badge “Jumia Global”.

Another type of product tag is the “Jumia Express”, all products that have been tagged as such take the shortest period of delivery among the Jumia products tags. As for the standard delivery(these are the products that have no tags), it takes a relatively shorter period for delivery to the Jumia Global products but longer than the Jumia Express products. 


How can I track the products I have ordered for at Jumia?

Jumia will send you regular updates about the status of your order via emails and SMS (that is the email and phone numbers attached to your Jumia account). After your order has left the Jumia warehouse and is on its way to you, you can also track its status by entering your tracking number on https://packagetracker-services.jumia.com/#/gh


Can I change my shipping address after I have placed an order?

Yes, it is possible to change your address to a new one after you have placed an order. You can request for your order to be delivered to a different address within the same region or city before your order is shipped. For that please contact Jumia Customer Service Call Centre at 0302740630 or email, customer-service@jumia.com.gh 

You can also contact the Jumia customer care service of your country if you are not in Ghana. In the email given above, just replace the last two letters (gh) with your country's own. For instance, if you are in Nigeria replace the gh with ng and so on.

If you want to change the shipping address to a different region or city, contact the Jumia service call center for your order to be canceled; make a new order with the new shipping address.




What if you found your package opened and the product seal is broken on delivery?

You should refuse to accept an open package, as Jumia will not accept returns of electronics products unsealed (unless for a defective reason). If you do accept such a package by mistake or find out it has been tampered with, please get in touch with Jumia Customer Service Call Centre immediately at 0302740630 or customer-service@jumia.com.gh.

What if I missed my delivery? What happens now?

Jumia will attempt to deliver your order again the next working day. They will try to deliver a total of 3 times before canceling your order.




Will somebody contacts me before delivering the package to my location?

Yes, Jumia delivery person will contact you to confirm your availability and exact location.



What are the delivery charges?

Delivery charges are the costs undertaken by Jumia and their logistics partners to bring your ordered item(s) to your doorstep.



Why do estimated delivery times vary for some sellers?

Estimated delivery times depend on the location of the seller. For example, mobile phone shipping from Kumasi would have a different estimated delivery time for customers in Accra than mobile phone shipping from Accra.



I ordered multiple items but I have received only one item so far. What’s going on?

There are many vendors on the Jumia platform so items sourced from different sellers are shipped separately to make sure that there is no delay in fulfillment of your order. Rest assured that you will get all your items within the delivery period mentioned on the product pages of those items.



Can my parcel be delivered to an office address?

Yes! Your parcel can be delivered to any address convenient for you. Just enter your preferred address as your 'shipping address' during checkout.



Does Jumia deliver outside Accra?

Jumia delivers all across Ghana through its own logistics & external logistics partners.



Which locations does Jumia accept Cash on Delivery?

We accept Cash on Delivery in all cities within Accra only. There are some cities and towns that are Prepaid Only Locations in Ghana.




Can I pick up my item instead of having it delivered to my doorstep?

Yes, this option can be chosen at the checkout step. You will be notified when your items arrive at the pickup station you chose, so you can come for pick up.

Please be informed that once available at this pickup station you will have 7 days maximum to pick up your item. After 7 days the item would be sent back to the Seller and your order canceled.




Does Jumia deliver internationally?

No, Jumia does not provide international delivery.



What if your parcel has been reported missing? What now?

No need to worry. We will help you replace your order at no extra cost.
