Jumia Jforce vs Jumia Affiliate Marketing

Jumia Jforce vs Jumia Affiliate Marketing
Both the Jumia Sales Consultancy program and the Jumia Affiliate Marketing are ways of making money with Jumia. Under the terms and conditions of the Jumia Affiliate Marketing program, no one shall be a Jumia Affiliate and at the same time a sales consultant. So you need to make a choice between the Jumia Sales Consultancy program otherwise known as the Jumia JForce and the Jumia Affiliate Marketing.

If this is the case, which one should one go in for? It is difficult when making a choice between two good things! In this post, I shall explain in detail how both the Jumia affiliate and the JForce work so that you will make a choice for yourself! In a previous submission, I have explained what the Jumia Sales Consultancy program is. This post as I have stated is focused to compare and contrast between the Jumia JForce and the Jumia affiliate program on various headings.

Capital

Under the JForce program, you do not need capital to start! The capital referred to here is the huge sum of money people invest before commencing a business. All you need is money for data bundle, find clients and place orders for them through your account. Once the orders are delivered, you will earn commissions on the product being sold taking consideration of the product category.

Under the Jumia affiliate marketing program, the story is not the same. Not that you need huge money to start though. But the money involved in buying data when you are using your smartphone or broadband when using a Laptop or desktop computer to do your affiliate program is higher than that of the JForce program. You cannot do without the internet under the Jumia affiliate program.

Prerequisites

All that you need before starting the Jumia Sales Consultancy program is just a Smartphone and that is it. You can even choose not to work online! But you need to order the products and the items for your clients through your JForce account; this is the place where you need data.

In fact, you need both a Smartphone and a laptop or a desktop computer to make work easier for you under the Jumia affiliate program. In addition to the above, you ought to have a blog site or a website or Facebook page with a shop, or any other social media business account or if you like, you can combine all before commencing the Jumia affiliate program.

Program territory

If I say “program territory” I am referring to the number of countries to which the Jumia JForce and the Jumia Affiliate program extend. While the Jumia JForce is limited to the Jumia country in which you are, the Jumia Affiliate program extends to all the countries in which Jumia is.

What this means is that as a Jumia Sales Consultant, you can only work within your country; the cross country is not allowed as there are other Sales Consultants in those countries too. For instance, if you are a Sales Consultant in Nigeria, you are limited to Nigeria only; you cannot be an agent in Ghana or any other country where there is Jumia.

The Jumia Affiliate program is consolidated, once you are a Jumia affiliate in one country, you are an affiliate in all other countries where Jumia exists. You can promote all the products and items in other countries where there is Jumia. That is to say, you are not limited to your country alone but have the freedom to promote all products and items of other countries where Jumia is located.

Skills

The main skill you need to have as a sales consultant is communication; the ability to convince consumers to place orders for them.

For the Jumia Affiliate program, it goes beyond communications skills to digital marketing as the whole of your work is done online. You ought to know how to generate affiliate links and banners from your affiliate dashboard before posting. Because failure to generate affiliate links and banners well, you will not earn anything, you just work in vain. Again, you should be good at writing good captions when posting to the various platforms. Moreover, you should be able to put adverting codes into your blog site or website if you are using one.

Online and offline working

You may work online and offline when you choose the Jumia Sales Consultancy program over the Jumia Affiliate program. The offline work involves talking to clients one on one to convince them to order products and items for them through your account.

Also, you can educate people about the benefits of online shopping with Jumia and the need to embrace e-commerce. You can do the same online by finding clients through various social media and even running ads.

But with the Jumia Affiliate program, in fact, most of the work is done online with little or no work done offline! That is why you need money to pay for connecting to the internet. The Jumia affiliate program involves generating links and banners from your affiliate dashboard and disseminating it through your blog site or website or through your social media business pages. That is to say, the Jumia affiliate program is purely home-based!

Customer relations and support

As a Jumia Sales Consultant, sometimes you need to take the products or items on behalf of your clients and deliver it to them. You need to also help your clients to make a return of a product that does not correspond to sample or sample and descriptions of the products being ordered for.

In some cases, you need to make a refund. In a nutshell, as a Jumia Sales Consultant, you need to be in constant communication with your client from the time you place an order to the time of delivery and after delivery. As a sales consultant, you will carry all the customer complaints!

Individual vendors and companies offering products or services on the Jumia online platform have to deal with their consumers and ensure they are satisfied with what they have purchased. Thanks to the Jumia affiliate marketing structure, you’ll never have to be concerned with customer support or customer satisfaction.

The entire job of the Jumia affiliate marketer is to link the seller with the consumer. The seller deals with any consumer complaints after you receive your commission from the sale. You do not have anything to do with customers as a Jumia Affiliate, you will just be responding to comments and reactions on your blog or websites or your social business pages.

Commissions

The Jumia JForce program commissions are lower than the Jumia Affiliate program. There are 5 levels in the Sales Consultancy program namely; probation, bronze, silver, gold and captaincy levels.

Commission increases simultaneously as one moves to another level in the program. As a sales consultant, you will earn extra income when you meet the sales targets at the various levels in the program. For instance, as a sales consultant in Ghana, you will earn an extra bonus when you hit the sales target of GH₵1,000.00.

The Jumia affiliate program does not have levels, commissions are based on product categories. From time to time the commission percentages are reviewed for the various product categories to meet the needs of Jumia. The Jumia affiliate commissions are higher than the Jumia sales consultancy program.

The inflow of income and level of income

Cash starts flowing in for a sales consultant in the same month provided you have found clients and place orders for them and have those orders delivered. The more you sell, the more you earn! So the levels of commission you earn depend on your efforts!

You need to have the patient of the farmer as a Jumia affiliate who sowed his seeds, weed and cared for the crops before the harvest time reaches. Failure to see future glorification, you will just give up on the way as an affiliate. In a nutshell, do not expect to earn anything from the beginning as an affiliate.

Income type

Both the Jumia sales consultancy program and the Jumia affiliate are ways of making money with Jumia. The JForce program is a way of making active income-that is you need to be actively placing an order for the clients that you have maintained and the new clients that you have found. If you stop placing orders for your clients you do not make money period.

The Jumia affiliate program is a way of making passive income. Hundreds of people can buy through a single affiliate link and banner long after it has been generated through your affiliate dashboard. Those affiliates who have a website or blog site coupled with social media business pages will earn cash while asleep.

While the JForce program requires you work to work actively as seen above to make money, Jumia affiliate marketing offers you the ability to make money while you sleep. By investing an initial amount of time into a campaign, you will see continuous returns on that time as consumers purchase the product over the following days and weeks.

You receive money for your work long after you’ve finished it. Even when you’re not in front of your computer, your marketing skills will be earning you a steady flow of income.

The downside of both  Jumia JForce And Jumia Affiliate programs

In cases where orders to be delivered delayed a major challenge that Jumia is facing, Jumia Sales Consultants are seen as fraudsters especially prepaid orders. I heard about a sales consultant whose’ client threatened to lock him up for a delayed order. The client has seen the sales consultant as a fraudster.

Even though e-commerce is on the increase, this part of the world, Africa, is still in darkness. Most people do not know how to shop online unlike the United States and Europe, where everything is virtually shopped online. When people see a product on social media even with a caption, they thought it just a mere picture. They just like it and proceed on, isn’t this interesting!

In your opinion, which one is the best, the Jumia affiliate or the sales consultancy program? If you have any questions, please do leave at the comment section below, and do not forget to share and subscribe! Thanks!
