How to buy quality products from Jumia
We always want the best when we shop for ourselves, friends and family. These days e-commerce is on the increase which is part of the globalization process. There is nothing one can do about it, you cannot stop it. The earlier you involve yourself the better. Online shopping has come to stay.

 Online shopping exposes one to large varieties of products from different vendors both local and international. So you have the benefit to make the best choice for yourself. Another benefit which people cited that online shopping saves time. As you know, these days' time is not on anyone’s side, you shop and get the product delivered right at your doorstep, which is e-commerce for you.

Is there any reason why one may resist online shopping? As for the benefit, I can go on and on but I am not here to outline the benefits of online shopping but rather to present an ultimate guideline on how to shop on Africa’s number one online shopping mall, Jumia.

You should be aware by this time that the numerous products and items sold at the Jumia online shopping platform are owned largely by third-party vendors both local and international. So you should be careful not to buy fake products and items for yourself, family and friends.

Note that by the time you check on this product, the reviews and the scorecard might change because many people are buying this product day in day out and with different ratings. This brings us to the next point.

See the Seller Score and the number of successful sales

The seller's score is a calculation of fulfilled orders, quality & speed of delivery for that Seller since they have been selling on Jumia; the higher the score, the better. The number of successful sales also goes a long way to tell an online buyer whether the product is of quality or not. You do not expect people to buy a product which is not of quality

 From above, this seller has a score of 80 percent and more than 10, 000 successful sales. A higher number of successful sales means that people like that particular product hence the high number of successful sales. On the contrary too if a product has a low number of successful sales, it means people do not like that particular product.

 Please take note too that a lower successful sales do not necessarily mean that the product is of low quality because new vendors are coming on the platform to sell. So you should carry on further research on the seller of that particular brand, the time it started to sell on the Jumia online platform. This will enable you to make a reasonable conclusion of whether a product is of low quality or not.

To get a breakdown of the seller's score, just point the cursor to the score, a dropdown summary will surface.
Please take note too that a low successful sales do not necessarily mean that the product is of low quality because new vendors are coming on the platform to sell. So you should carry on further research on the seller of that particular brand, the time it started to sell on the Jumia online platform. This will enable you to make a reasonable conclusion of whether a product is of low quality or not.
From above, the seller of this particular product started selling on the Jumia platform for just a year and has been able to sell more than 10,000 of this product. So we may conclude that the product is of high quality, we can proceed and order. The only negative side of the summary is the shipping speed, it is below average as you can see above. That is why it is important to know the delivery timelines of the product to avoid disappointments and frustrations.
